- Many, many moons ago, there was such a commercial device advertised in the
- magazines of the time. I have no other recollection about it, other than
- it was an 80-column card for the VIC-20 that required a monochrome monitor
- (obviously it had its own 6X45 chip inside). Of course, software is a
- different issue...
